Nordic Nirvana.
BECAUSE ADVENTURE MATTERS

ADVENTURE AWAITS.
Cascading waterfalls, glacier lagoons, bubbling geysers, moss-covered lava fields— Iceland’s riches lie within its cinematic landscapes and nature-driven activities. Soak in a steaming geothermal pool before cooling off in an ice cave. Watch the night sky come alive with the Northern Lights. Ride an Icelandic horse on a black-sand beach or gallop through lavender fields. Take a coastal walk past puffin colonies or snorkel between tectonic plates. On this journey, we mix the best-of-the-best with off-the-radar experiences, with just a splash of “choose your own adventure.” Of course, no trip is complete without cultural immersion starting with our local guides. These dyed-in-the-wool native Icelanders are descendants of shark fishermen and 9th century Vikings. It’s their mission to connect you with the true heart of Iceland and take you far beyond the tourist route. You’ll cap each day with Atlantic-to-table cuisine with luxury lodging in the country’s finest hotels. For a tailor-made adventure trip like none other, step into the unknown and we’ll take care of the rest.
ITINERARY
Day 1–3: Reykjavik / South Coast. Land or water? From the capital of Reykjavik, choose your own adventure where you can slip into hiking boots or flippers. The one will take you on a technicolor hike from waterfalls to wildflowers within Thingvellir National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to 930 lies in a rift formed by volcanic activity. Choose flippers and you’ll get an underwater view of this famed canyon during a snorkeling experience between the Eurasian and American tectonic plates.
From here, culture awaits as you settle into your luxury manor on a farm, privately owned by the same family for seven generations. Soak in the summer midnight sun or rise-and-shine with your hosts who will guide you around the family farm on scenic trails to the sheep barn.
Over the next couple of days, choose from a variety of multi-sport activities that we’ve customized exclusively for you. Gallop the countryside on a shaggy Icelandic horse or take a coastal walk along the cape that climbs Hjorleifshofdi to explore Viking ruins overlooking black-sand beaches.
Day three will literally take your breath away during a guided hike along a glacier where you’ll explore caves and crevices carved into aquamarine ice. Refuel during a gourmet glacier picnic complete with fresh catch-of-the-day.
Day 4–6: Glacial Lagoon. Wander Diamond Beach along Glacier Lagoon, punctuated by icebergs peppering black sand beaches. Like diamonds in the mud, these icy-blue peaks are carved by wind and waves into surreal shapes—many floating offshore like docks where seals bask in the sun. The best view is aboard a Zodiac that weaves between the bergs during summer months. During the winter, ice cave tours into the abyss are on the agenda.
Just when you thought ice gazing was over, you’ll settle into one of the country’s most contemporary hotels situated between two massive glaciers. Wall-to-wall windows reflect the stark beauty of the nordic island, while the modern decor and fine-dining remind you that anything is possible in Iceland.
Delving into the island’s legends, we’ll take you deep into your own Games of Thrones experience. Enter Reynisdrangar—three basalt sea stacks that jut offshore. Geology and mythology collide in a tale of three trolls who stayed out past bedtime and were turned to stone. A coastal walk with your storyteller guide offers Instagram-worthy photos of these impressive rock formations.
In our return to Reykjavik, we’ll end our immersive Icelandic week at the famed Blue Lagoon. This steaming lake beckons global travelers to its neon blue geothermal waters. In summer, join our guide on a hike along a magnificent lava flow for the best Iceland volcano tour imaginable. From the summit, gaze into the dormant crater and then spin around for a panoramic view of more than 20 volcanoes in the distance.
