Magnificent Montana.
BECAUSE TRANQUILITY MATTERS

TRANQUILITY AWAITS.
If you know very little about Montana, there’s probably a reason why. Those who experience Montana’s magnificence either make it their home or vow to keep their love for the state under wraps. Understandably so. It’s impossible not to be enamored with Montana—a land where you can hear the wings of an eagle soar through the air; where rocks crumble beneath the hooves of ashen mountain goats; where road-weary travelers tuck into lakeside cabins in search of tranquility. For the love of horses—these silky beasts are 50-a-field, poised and ready for showtime.
Montana is the epitome of America’s greatness, one rugged state where bison roam between dusty towns with malt shops, trading posts, barefoot children, porch swings, rusted Chevys, faded flags, solitary silos, and craftsman-style homes. Yet the marrow of Montana lies in Glacier National Park, a wilderness area in the Rocky Mountains boasting glacier-carved peaks and valleys that spill across the Canadian border.
Get ready as we introduce you to the grandeur and solitude of Montana with nature walks, visits to mining camps, and interactions with ranchers and Native Americans who call this gloryland their home. See Montana in a whole new light in this unparalleled journey that blends local culture and outdoor activities with the wild side of this mighty state.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Whitefish. Lace-up those boots and hit the trail from the town of Whitefish, the gateway to the jagged peaks and ice fields of Glacier National Park. Beyond the downtown shops and eateries that line Central Avenue, our adventure begins with a nature walk rewarded with views of the Rocky Mountains. You can bring true meaning to the words “Happy Hour” with a traditional Whiskey Ditch and delectable mountain-raised bison grilled to perfection.
Day 2–3: West Glacier. Start the morning exploring Swift Creek Trail where we’ll break for an afternoon picnic in the forest. After lunch, we’ll head to Glacier’s Highline Trail, considered among the most spectacular scenery in the United States. Cherry orchards push the shoreline and roadside stands tempt with huckleberry pie, cherry jam, and bison jerky. Beyond ice-blue rivers and glassy lakes is our historic lodge in West Glacier where we’ll overnight. By day, we’ll be joined by a member of the Blackfeet Indian tribe who will share the history, mythology, and culture of his people through song and stories.
Day 4–6: Many Glacier/Whitefish. Situated on the shores of Swiftcurrent Lake, Many Glacier Hotel will be our basecamp for the next two nights. Nestled in the “Switzerland of North America,′′ this lakeside hotel within Glacier National Park was built by the Great Northern Railway in 1914. The hotel’s central location makes it the ideal starting point for day hikes and panoramic views from Sun Point Nature Trail. Get your camera ready for sightings of elk, deer, moose, bald eagles, and other wildlife. On this easy excursion, we’ve chosen to ignore “no pain, no gain” and embrace “all good things come to those who wait” by treating you to a 5-star picnic complete with the finest farm-to-blanket cuisine in Montana.
In true tradition, we’ll relive centuries past when railroad barons opened Glacier National Park to travelers arriving by lake steamer. It’s “all aboard” the vessel as we cruise Swiftcurrent and Josephine Lakes, while hearing tales of local tribes and the mining boom that helped put Montana on the map. Soak in views from Grinnell Glacier Trail which traces the west shoreline of these pristine sister lakes. On our final day, we’ll return to the mountain town of Whitefish, the doorstep of Glacier National Park where our adventure began and our memories will never end.
